Merry Christmas 2020!

Ah COVID Christmas! Nearing the end of the memorable year that is 2020, we celebrated Christmas with some longtime traditions and some new ones.

December 25th brought our White Christmas!

We headed to Kitchener to be with Grandma and Grandpa on Christmas Day. Before that though, was a new tradition, stockings! These are pretty traditional for those who celebrate Christmas full on, but we hadn't done much with them. Needless to say the boys loved them and I think we'll be continuing in future years.

Stocking! Thanks Santa :)

I was easy on myself with the cooking as I picked up some of the Christmas staples from trusted Fortinos. That said, we did make some nostalgic Christmas cookies - chocolate chow mein noodle and peanut clusters!

Here we are enjoying Christmas dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. I got chicken tenders so even Benjamin enjoyed his meal! Jacob's fav is mashed potatoes and gravy, and he was not disappointed.

Merry Christmas, Grandma

Of course the real excitement for the kids was ... Christmas presents! First opening, then playing with them!

Look what I made!

We then snuggled up and watched the Christmas Chronicles.

Finally time to head home, and the drive was a bit tough due to snow. It was slow going but we made it to home sweet home after midnight!

Merry Christmas 2020!
