Our sweet and wonderful boy is growing up so fast- already 7 years old! This is a turning point age. Jacob doesn't seem so little anymore. Tall he is, and he's taking live by storm!
We decorated the table for a special birthday breakfast. The 'theme' of this birthday is rocks and gems, which Jacob loves. In the background, the fun cereals can be spotted - it is a birthday tradition to indulge in the likes of Lucky Charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
During the COVID pandemic and lockdown, standard birthday parties were not an option, so Jacob thought there wouldn't be much that day. Little did he know, we had planned a special surprise Travelling 7th Birthday! There were 7 scrolls prepared to lead us to our party destinations.
The 7 Scrolls
Jacob read the first one at our place and learned a bit about the party ahead:
Abba did an amazing job decorating the Honda like a limo (which Jacob loves!). He took out the middle seats, put up lights inside and made it very special!
Jacob read the first scroll to find out where we were headed:
We headed to Caleb' house as our first stop on the birthday circuit. The boys enjoyed jumping on the trampoline and using hammers to crack open geodes.

And one selfie of Mama riding beside the limo driver
We arrived at the Biros and the kids quickly found the pinata in the backyard! After a few good swings, the candy was out. Jacob, Benji, Saul and Miriam hung out in the fort in the backyard while eating their candy.
We also enjoyed a warming lunch of chicken fingers and potato wedges on the porch. I have to say by this point these really hit the spot!
