Family Day

Today, Monday Feb 16 is Family Day in Canada which is a holiday. We lucked out with some really nice weather (-1 and sunny! Toronto winter relative scale: anything which is not double-digits negative is pretty good). We were pretty tired from a long climb yesterday so we replaced our planned morning climb with a long walk. Denise wanted to check out this neighborhood and so we did. It was a nice long walk, we spent some time in the park and found ourselves in a cute coffee shop which had the most delicious chocolate-chip cookies. I'd certainly walk the 40 minutes for those again!

On the way back we got some water-colours and hopefully we will post some of Denise's creations here soon!

Tonight we are going to see a  play. Denise will write about it later, it is still a surprise for her.

I am supposed to be working on my thesis right now so I'd better get back to it.
