Welcome everyone!

Last week I sent mom a picture from our Formal ('NESHEF') and thought I should start sending her a picture-a-day and a little update about how my life is these days. Since this will eat up her email I decided to opt for a blog, so this a first try at that and we'll see how it goes. Of course, Denise jumped on the idea and joined in, so we will both be writing here about our day-to-day lives.

I guess I would start with last week though. We had the Trinity formal, which is really nothing more than a fancy party. We all dress up, have a nice dinner with a free bar and then go to the Provost lodge (the Provost is the head of the college, the big boss). Over there we have more Champagne, dessert and the 4th year students join in. The last part is just a party for all the students in the main hall, by this stage most people have had a few drinks in them. It is usually quite an entertaining event. If you want to have a good laugh take a look at me in a suit.
